Use: Reinforced water-activated gummed paper tape for the very strongest, tamper-evident carton seals.

Material & adhesive: Kraft paper backing reinforced with embedded fibres (typically glass or polyester) for extra strength, plus a water-activated starch adhesive that bonds fibre-to-fibre with the carton.

Suitable for: Heavy or high-value cartons, export shipments, long-distance transport and situations where maximum seal strength and tamper evidence are required.

How to use: Feed through a gummed tape dispenser to moisten the adhesive, apply along the carton seam and press down firmly. Allow the adhesive to cure for a short period for full strength.

  • FAQ: When should I choose reinforced vs plain? Choose reinforced for heavier, bulkier or higher-value consignments where added security and strength are needed.
  • FAQ: Is it still recyclable? Yes, the paper and reinforcement fibres are typically accepted in normal cardboard recycling streams.
  • FAQ: Can I use it in cold environments? It will still bond when properly activated, but performance is best when tape and cartons are at or near room temperature before sealing.
