Double Wall Cardboard Box 914 x 457 x 254 mm – a very long, shallow heavy-duty carton ideal for wide or elongated products that need robust protection.

Internal size: 914 x 457 x 254 mm. Supplied in packs of 20.

Uses & Applications

  • Long products such as hardware, fixtures, signage, POS materials and panels.
  • Flat-packed items and kits that must be kept in a low profile.
  • Bulk shipments of folded textiles, bedding or large garments laid flat.

Suitable For

  • Medium–heavy loads where length and base strength are key.
  • Flat or wide items that must not be tightly folded or rolled.
  • Pallet and courier shipments of longer merchandise.

Recommended Tape

  • Standard loads: 50 mm low-noise PP tape with at least two runs along the base seam plus cross-strips.
  • Heavier contents: Vinyl or reinforced tape on the base flaps and edges.
  • Eco option: Gummed paper tape for fully recyclable, high-strength seals.

Recommended Void Fill

  • Rolled kraft paper along the length to prevent items sliding.
  • Foam edge protectors or bubble wrap for corners and long edges of fragile items.
  • Air pillows / foam chips for any remaining side and end gaps.

How to Use

Reinforce the base, place products centrally, protect corners and ends, then pack void fill tightly at each end and around sides. Ensure nothing can move when the box is tilted, then seal with continuous tape along and across the flaps.
